Delhi latest news: Delhi Airport on Saturday blazoned that all breakouts are operating as listed after an enhancement in runway visibility.

In a post on X, field authorities advised passengers to reach out to their separate Delhi Airport flights for the rearmost flight updates.

“Runway visibility at Delhi Airport has bettered and all breakouts are operating typically," the Indira Gandhi International Airport stated. The advisory was issued runway visibility improvement plan at 9.52 am and prompted passengers to check with airlines for updates.

While flight operations were innocent, northern India remained enveloped in thick fog. Iconic milestones like the Taj Mahal in Agra and several cities, including New Delhi, Kanpur, and Gwalior, are endured dense fog in northern India.

In Kanpur, locals brazened the cold with backfires. Bus motorist Raj Kumar said, “We face problems getting to work because it's so cold. Backfires should at least be placed at the roundabouts."

His coworker Sunil Kumar Gupta added," There are a lot of problems arising due to the cold but the administration isn't paying heed. It's still cold out there. What can we do about it? We're helpless."

In Srinagar, excursionists endured infuriating temperatures during" Chillai Kalan," the harsh 40- day downtime period. A sightseer from Bhopal participated," We've been in Kashmir for the last 3- 4 days. It's veritably cold then.

Although breakouts remained innocent at Indira Gandhi International Airport, train services faced detainments due to the patient fog.
